About us
PAADC is an annual STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) based competition, created by the University of Lagos Engineering Society (ULES) for undergraduates in the Nigerian varsity scene.
It was founded in 2017 with the aim of encouraging the creation of indigenous solutions to Nigerian challenges, through science and technology. Over the years, we have successfully helped incubate 12 startups and intend to do more.
Mission
PAADC aims to promote, celebrate, reward, and incubate innovative solutions across the African landscape. Centering on the undergraduate community, we aim to encourage goal getters and phenomenal pacesetters.
Vision
Our objective is to equip and empower undergraduate startups across the continent, setting the pace for disruptive innovation that would reshape our society.

Engr. Nasir Giwa is a veteran in the energy and power sector in Nigeria. He has been instrumental to the success of many multinational energy and power companies. This includes companies like Siemens Energy Limited, Solar Turbines Services Nigeria, and Mantrac Nigeria Limited. He was listed as one of the 60 most influential people in Power by ESI Africa in 2015.
